We built the ddakji app to prioritize speed and security. Live-dealer streams load faster on mobile than on desktop browsers because the app uses optimized codecs and caches dealer-studio feeds. Two-factor authentication, encrypted login, and biometric unlock (fingerprint / face recognition) are built into the app, not added as afterthoughts. Android APK gives you the full app experience with offline caching and push notifications. iOS browser access works on all iPhones without App Store approval delays. The web app runs on any device with a modern browser and requires no installation.

  Upload your identity document (KTP, passport, or driver's license). Once verified, add a payment method — DANA, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet, or bank transfer — and make your first deposit.

App versus browser: strengths and trade-offs

The ddakji app offers offline caching, push notifications for live-dealer table openings and withdrawal confirmations, and faster load times for live streams. The app stores your session on your device, so you remain logged in even if your internet drops mobile bankingefly. Browser access requires no installation and works on any device, but it cannot cache dealer feeds or send notifications. If you use ddakji across multiple devices — phone, tablet, laptop — the app on your phone and the browser on your laptop will sync your account balance and transaction history in real time. Choose the app if you want speed and notifications; choose the browser if you value simplicity and cross-device flexibility.

Device requirements and compatibility

Our ddakji app runs on Android 7.0 and later, and iOS 12.0 and later. Most phones sold in the last five years meet these requirements. If your device is older, the browser version of ddakji will still work. For Android, you need at least 100 MB of free storage. For iOS, the web app requires Safari 12 or later. If you are unsure whether your device is compatible, try the browser version first — it has no installation requirements and works on nearly all devices.

Common installation issues and solutions

On Android, if you see "Unknown sources" or "Install from unknown sources" warnings, this is normal. Android requires you to allow installation from sources outside the Google Play Store. Go to Settings → Security → Unknown Sources and toggle it on. This does not make your device unsafe; it simply allows you to install the ddakji APK. On iOS, if Safari does not show the "Add to Home Screen" option, make sure you are using Safari (not Chrome or another browser) and that you are on the ddakji.net homepage. If you see certificate warnings, this is rare but can happen if your device's date and time are incorrect — check your device settings and correct them. If the app crashes on launch, try clearing your browser cache (iOS) or uninstalling and reinstalling the APK (Android).

Data, permissions, and account security

The ddakji app requests permission to access your device's camera (for KYC document upload), microphone (for live-dealer chat), and location (to verify your jurisdiction). We do not use your camera or microphone for any other purpose. Your location is verified once during account setup and is not tracked continuously. All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using TLS 1.3. Your password is never stored on your device — only a session token is cached locally. If you lose your phone, your account remains secure because the session token expires after 30 days of inactivity. You can also log out remotely from another device or contact our support team to force a logout. Enable two-factor authentication in your account settings for an extra layer of security.
